NexxLinx HistoryNexxLinx is a leading provider of Business Process Outsourcing solutions. The predecessor company, CustomerLinx was launched in 1999, with the thought that Customer Relationship Management is a vital part of any and all business processes. CustomerLinx then acquired many leading point solution companies, including ETC Data in New York and Market Central in North Carolina. One ingredient was still needed to allow then CustomerLinx to become the leader in advanced BPO services…that was technology. CustomerLinx became NexxLinx when the strategic relationship with M1 Global was formed in 2003. M1 Global is the latest culmination of vision for one of the industry’s leading internet visionaries, Michael McChesney. Michael’s vision was at play in creating the worlds first internet bank (SFNB) in 1995 which formed a great software company, S1. He later teamed up with Five Paces Ventures in Atlanta and started WebTone. After WebTone’s sale to Fidelity National Information Services, the latest chapter of McChesney’s vision was still at work, believing that with ubiquitous broadband networks, enterprises (and indeed society) would substantially change the manner of which most work is performed. M1 Global was formed to deliver on this new network paradigm. M1 Global’s development of the Star Pound Business Convergence Platform created a ‘next generation’ phone company, capable of providing both voice services and integrated data applications.
