NexxLinx has achieved growth by changing the way contact centers do business. The market reality is that most current contact centers operate legacy environments with multiple “silos” of voice and data that are patched together by huge support staffs and outside consultants, requiring continuing capital outlays to stay operational, and an army of programmers to introduce new services. They are not prepared for next generation services delivery.

NexxLinx has created a unique integrated software platform that focuses on increasing the efficiency and eliminating cost from outsourced Business Transactions and Processes. The success of NexxLinx’s application layer product has coincided with and been driven by the convergence of voice and data communications. NexxLinx utilizes a studio tool to enable business users to quickly orchestrate multi-modal communications (like voice, video and data) with standard IT applications/DB sets. This tool, with a run-time environment, takes advantage of the following paradigms:

  • Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) is widely available
  • Internet technology has become the standard for telecomm systems (i.e. Services-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE)).
  • Distributed architecture allows for new innovations (e.g. Next-Generation VoIP Platform, Internet Multimedia Subsystem (IMS))
  • Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Standards are now mandated (i.e. Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), Voice Extensible Markup Language (VXML), Web Services, etc.
  • NexxLinx, Inc., based in Atlanta, has been in operation since 1999.
